Master bath remodel in Lake Oswego

It was time for the owner of this dated master bath to update it aesthetically and functionally. The wallpaper came off, the large deck tub removed, the shower enlarged into the closet area and the vanity was replaced, in this original master bath built in the 1970's. To aid in accessibility , the shower has a no threshold opening, grab bars and a teak bench. Lighting was increased throughout, a pony wall was reduced to waist height to open up the space and a free standing soaking tub replaces the old jacuzzi. Even though this homeowner does not use the bath tub, its main use will be by her grandchildren. A new pebble floor transitions from the shower pan throughout the entire bathroom replacing the carpet that was in its place. A seated make-up area is centered between two elliptical vessel sinks on the custom vanity. New pendant lighting replaces the inadequate recessed eyeball lights.
